River of Life Ministries was founded by Hamilton and Helena Filmalter and has been based in Portland, Oregon since 2001. Born in South Africa, Hamilton experienced God’s call to the ministry at the age of 12. After pioneering a church and Christian school in South Africa, the Filmalter family came to America in 1994. They traveled extensively conducting revival meetings and eventually settled in Portland, Oregon. During the Gulf War, God placed a passion in Hamilton’s heart to reach the Muslim people. The door opened in 2003 with an invitation to do a crusade in Pakistan, the results of which exceeded all expectations. The ministry in Pakistan continues through mass evangelistic miracle crusades coupled with leadership and church planting training. The Church has prayed for revival for many years. We believe this is the time that the Lord has appointed for a great healing revival and ingathering of the harvest in America. A group of churches in the Greater Portland/Vancouver/Salem Area has joined with us for this tent revival as God pours out His Spirit in our region. ©2008 River of Life Ministries |
